Events Venues
Our Events are held nationwide and sometimes in conjunction with other industry bodies such at the ICE regional bodies, the Permant Way Institution and the British Tunnelling Society.

One Great George Street
Our London events are held at the Institution of Civil Engineers at One Great George Street.
The building has a cloakroom open during events located on the ground floor along with many other amenities.
How to get there?
The Institution is just off Parliament Square in Central London. We promote the use of rail as a sustainable form of transport to our events:
► The nearest Tube station is at Westminster (on the Circle, District & Jubilee lines), please use the Transport for London website to find your way.
► The ICE is also a short walk (10 minutes) away from both Victoria and Waterloo mainline stations, please use the National Rail website to find your way.
All are fully accesible stations and there is an interactive map on our Contact Us page. For other transport modes:
► Taxi's and several bus services are available in the vicinity. Again check out the Transport for London website for more information.
► If you are feeling energetic, there is a TfL Cycle Hire docking station adjacent to the building.
► Car access is severly restricted, the venue is without parking and is within the Central London Congestion Charge Zone. We suggest you do not drive.
Godfrey Mitchell Theatre
Most of our evening meetings are held in the Godfrey Mitchell Theatre which provides a positive atmosphere for our wide-ranging talks. The lecture theatre can be found on the Lower Ground One level of the building and has step-free access.
Before our meetings we invite you to refreshments, coffee and biscuits for half-an-hour prior to the talk. Please come along and introduce yourself. This is again held on the Lower Ground One level.
Telford Theatre
Occasionally, due to high demand on interesting topics, our meetings are held in the Telford Theatre on the First Floor at the ICE.
